65 days. This sweet Asian cucumber can be eaten like any traditional Western cucumber or in a variety of Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Thai or Korean recipes. Popular in soups, raitas and stir-fries. A natural coolant to the palate during the hot summer. Trellis for longer, straighter fruit.

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 1 to 2 weeks after average last frost and when soil temperatures are warm.

When to start inside: 4 to 6 weeks before average last frost

Harvesting: Do not let cucumbers get too big; plants stop producing if over-mature cucumbers stay on the vine. Japanese Soyu are best at 18" or smaller. Cut the stem rather than pulling at the fruit to break off. Immediately immerse in cold water to disperse “field heat” to increase the quality and life of the picked fruit.
